ask-agentcoulson replied to your post: Bounty (in America) is a brand of paper towels and napkins, not toilet paper. It’s got a cheesy brand label (or it did once upon a time) of a lumberjack showing off his muscles. Very odd but it worked because it symbolized “strength” in the little towel. *shrugs* Americans are weird.//wait, what’s called mounds now???I AM CLEARLY NOT THE PERSON TO BE ASKING ABOUT THIS.
//what mounds are YOU talking about?!??
And good luck to the graveyard shift.

there are some people I just want to rp with but they’re like rp royalty and you’re just like
Listen up. There are many reasons that we, as players, do not want to play out a romantic ship: our characters are incompatible, one character is unavailable, we’re just not comfortable with it… whatever the reason, it happens and we don’t have to justify it.
This is not a judgment of any character other than our own.
It does not mean we find your character irritating, or we hate you, or we don’t want to roleplay with you at all. It means that a romantic relationship is not in the cards. There are plenty of other relationships: friendships, enemies, rivals, sibling-like relationships… They’re all important and fun to play out, too!
If you are in this situation, the appropriate response is to just accept it and move on. Work out an alternate plot! Find other ways to have fun. Two characters can and do regularly interact non-romantically. There’s no reason why you can’t.
The following are NOT appropriate responses:
- getting angry at your partner
- continually asking
- passive-aggressive bullcrap
- attempting to guilt someone into shipping with you.
- attempting to force the ship anyway.
That last one is especially bad. Forcing a ship is a good way to make yourself unpopular. If you force someone into playing something with you after they’ve told you no, you’re taking advantage of someone’s kindness and that’s not cool at all. Your partner’s clearly not going to enjoy it since they’re, you know, doing something they don’t want to do. You’re actively taking away someone’s fun for your own happiness and that’s really kind of a selfish douchebag thing to do.
On the flip side: Never be afraid to tell someone you don’t want to ship with them. It’s okay. You don’t have to say yes to everything.
You never have to roleplay anything you don’t want to.
Anyone who tries to make you do otherwise is not worth playing with.
So please, don’t be that person.

The hardest part of writing witty dialogue is that I’m not as witty as the characters
